Gamification is the application of game-play mechanics in nongame settings, and more efficient, more smooth, more happily to realize the goal. The use of gamification can increase the degree of pleasure in the user experience, enhance participation and motivation, and can reduce customer churn rate. Gamification has been applied in many fields, such as business, finance, the Internet industry, education, etc., and has achieved good results.Library service as a core focus in the field of library, service quality is related to the development of the library. Gamification experience embedded in library services can improve the library user participation, degree of gelling and loyalty, can optimize the library services, and can promote the sustainable development of the library. Thus, gamification experience has important value in the library service.First of all, this paper introduces the concept of library service, and points out the challenges faced by the library service. In the face of these challenges, Our strategy is the innovation of the library service. While gamification experience as a library’s innovative service can solve the challenges and problems in library service, and can brings vitality and vigor to the library. Then this paper introduces the concept of gamification, the advantage of gamification, the operation mechanism of gamification, the MDA framework of gamification, Gamification is theoretically carried on the thorough analysis.Secondly, this paper points out that the gamification experience is a strategy of library service—Gamification experience is an incentive strategy of library service, gamification experience is the experience marketing strategy of library service, gamification experience can shape loyal readers. Gamification experience is divided into three categories, game mechanism, games, activities, then analyzed the practical cases, and points out their advantages and disadvantages.Again, Study the case of the gamification experience in library service., explores the application of gaming experience in library service-Librarygame and Second Life. The two instances are succeeded in library service, which illustrates the gamification experience’s value in library service. Then the author analyzes the gamification experience’s value in the library service.Finally, through a summary of the above analysis, The author concluded that Game mechanics model is suitable for future development of the library service, We should focus on the research in this area. Combined with gamification experience’s design skills and GAME rules, The author studies on design of gamification experience. Hope that can provide some material for gamification experience design, make the library service combined with gamification experience.
