Commemorative Report:People's Daily "Long March Spirit" Of The Ceremony Spread

The year 2016 marks the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Long March by the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army.The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has held a special commemoration conference.Major domestic mainstream media have also carried out highly ceremonial commemorative reports on the spirit of the Long March.The year 2019 marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 85th anniversary of the Long March of the Red Army of Chinese Workers and Peasants.Major domestic mainstream media once again conducted large-scale commemorative reports on the spirit of the Long March.The research found that in the five years from 2016 to 2020,except for 2016 and 2019,the media has never stopped setting topics on the Long March spirit.Even if it is not in special commemorative years,the Long March spirit is also presented as an important topic in the media.Why does the mainstream media attach so much importance to the commemorative report of the Long March spirit? Is the memorial report of the Long March spirit with planning in theme and continuity in time a kind of ceremonial communication? What significance does this phenomenon of communication ceremony have for carrying forward the spirit of the Long March,reflecting the development of The Times and forming national identity? Therefore,this article in the People's Daily for investigation,the research object,using theoretical analysis and textual research method,mainly on January 1,2016 to December 31,2020,analyzing the spirit of long march memorial reports,think of monumental report itself is a kind of ceremony,the People's Daily,completes the long march spirit spread reports memorial ceremony,is a kind of media/carving "memory" and the specific practice of memory,for the general mainstream newspapers do memorial ceremony spread provide certain enlightenment and reference.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part summarizes the domestic and foreign research results on the theory of ceremonial communication and the current academic research results on the commemorative reports of the Long March spirit,in order to grasp the theoretical connotation and research status of commemorative reports and ceremonial communication.The second part of the People's Daily from January 1,2016 to December 31,2020 commemorative reports of the Long March spirit of text analysis,summed up the ritual characteristics of these commemorative reports.The third part summarizes the communication strategies of People's Daily's commemorative reporting of the Long March spirit,and studies them from four aspects: ritualistic agenda setting,ritualistic activity planning,ritualistic topic expression and ritualistic character interaction.The fourth part discusses the significance of the communication of the commemorative reporting ceremony of the Long March spirit of People's Daily from four aspects: continuing the Long March spirit,strengthening the collective memory,completing social interaction and forming the national identity.The fifth part focuses on the enlightenment from the experience of People's Daily on the ceremonial communication of commemorative reports of general mainstream newspapers,in order to provide some reference for optimizing the ceremonial communication effect of commemorative reports of newspapers.
