Bearing In Mind And Inheritance: Research On The Commemorative Report Of The Long March Of The People's Daily (1949-2016)

80 years ago,the victory of the Red Army made the revolution of China safe,which is of great significance in the history of our party,the state and the army.In the current era of rapid change,people want to find cultural continuity,identity and spiritual inheritance from historical recollections.We are not lack of the history,but the lack of the memory.The media plays an important role in the construction of historical memory,relying on the anniversary of the Long March,a major historical anniversary,and the major media carrys out the long march commemorative reports,so that the Long March can be resurrected.In order to study the media reports of Long March Memorial characteristics,way of reporting and communication function,the paper makes the Party Central Committee's official newspaper“people's Daily”as the research object,using content analysis and text analysis method of combining qualitative and quantitative analysis,on the long march Memorial reported in 1949-2016.On the one hand,the paper makes quantitative statistics the quantity,the report layout,genre,theme,form,from the macro perspective of the media reports of Long March Memorial characteristics;on the other hand,from the longitudinal angle the paper analyses of the“people's Daily”on the Long March every ten anniversary of the reported characteristics and historical construction.The study found that,along with the changes of politics,economy,media environment,“people's Daily”reported the Long March memorial focuses more on the matter,people and the current,in order to better achieve the political function,the Long March memorial reported social and educational functions.Combined with other media such as Xinhua news agency and other reports of the Long March memorial experience,the paper pointed out that the“people's Daily”reported in the form of innovation,to strengthen the interaction and innovation in order to seek better planning reports,Long March memorial reports spread to realize its function of communication.
