The strategic implementation of software companies is often achieved through projects.For S company,the success of software development projects determines the company's success or failure,and it is related to the future of the company.As the most core resource of a software enterprise,employees are one of the important factors for the success of the project.A scientific performance management system is one of the powerful measures to improve employee performance and ensure that the company's strategy can be implemented well,and it is an important guarantee for the sustainable development of the company.S company's business type,corporate culture,organizational structure,and employee characteristics indicate that traditional control-oriented performance management concepts and key performance indicators(KPI)-based performance management tools have shown a certain degree of inconsistency in software development projects.Be applicable.This paper takes the software development project of the small and medium-sized software private enterprise S company as the research object.Through the field investigation and analysis of the S company,it is found that the software development project of the S company lacks a scientific and effective performance management system,and the performance goals are decoupled from the corporate strategic goals.The appraisal is a matter of formality and the results of performance incentives are not obvious.By studying domestic and foreign performance management,project management and other related documents,summarized the characteristics of software development projects,project performance influencing factors,performance management development trends.Through the questionnaire survey and qualitative analysis methods,the characteristics of human resources of S company,the factors that affect employees' work motivation,and the basic psychological needs of employees are analyzed and researched.It is found that employees of S company are knowledge employees,and their work motivation is mainly external motivation and relationship The demand is the highest.On the basis of the above research and analysis,OKR is used as the guiding ideology of software development project performance management,and the software development project performance management system design is carried out from six aspects: performance process,performance culture,performance goals,performance evaluation,performance feedback,and performance incentives..Finally,through the performance management application of the S company data development project team,the following conclusions are drawn: 1.OKR is feasible in the software development projects of small and medium enterprises.2.The optimized software development project performance management system has achieved good implementation results,and the project performance has been significantly improved compared with projects that have not implemented OKR.3.OKR plays a more obvious role in improving project members' satisfaction with team atmosphere,cooperation,and project openness.4.The optimized software development project performance management system has a good role in promoting the implementation of the S company's strategy.
