The Study And Application Of Project Management Technology On Export Software Development

Nowadays has seen the increase of correlation between and among industries internationally as well as the ongoing growth of demand in global software market thanks to the development of global economy, which is providing the developing countries with the development opportunities for their software industries. Under such circumstance, it has become a trend, in process of software industry development around the world, for a software enterprise to develop the outsourcing business. In developed countries, the outsourcing has turned out to be an essential means to the development of software enterprises, and the software outsourcing business globally is becoming increasingly mature. For this reason, software export will be a critical means for the development of China's software industry.By working in a company that is dedicated to the software outsourcing business for Japanese enterprises and that has accumulated certain experience in this field, I have participate in the overall development process of many projects, in course of which, I managed to master the various techniques for software development and experienced the overall project management as well. In this thesis, there will, through the introduction of three aspects of software development project management method (i.e., project management techniques, software development process management & human management) and based on the actual development project, present this company's a complete set of management framework, which are relatively mature and software outsourcing-oriented. Playing an effective role in project management and improvement of software quality, these framework are worked out by company's senior project managers based on their around 10-year work experience and through their study of project management method as well as innovation.Many project management methods are introduced into China in the past few years; however, little attention has been paid to the way of connecting these methods to the actual situation of various projects as well as of application of such methods. During the study in the school, I have taught the domestic, especially the overseas, classical software engineering and project management theories, and therefore understand the importance of the project management on software engineering. Through the working in the company, I manage to integrate this theoretical knowledge into this framework, which is applied and generates certain achievements.The purpose of this thesis is to introduce the actual project development process and the experience of the project management to summarize this framework, to except to introduce to more practitioners for the benefit of communication and learning between and among the industry practitioners, who will try to improve China's project management capability in software development through absorption and summarizing the existing modes and regulations in a bid to enhance China's competitiveness internationally in export-oriented software development and build up our own core competitiveness of the enterprise.
