Research On The Operation Mode Of The Foreign Library Crowdsourcing Project And Its Enlightenment

Crowdsourcing refers to a way in which a company or organization publishes tasks that should be completed by itself on the Internet and recruits uncertain online public to complete.This approach has gradually been introduced into library work practices in recent years,allowing more public participation in library work,effectively alleviating the problem of insufficient human and financial resources of libraries,and promoting the effective use of library resources.At present,there are many successful cases that foreign libraries use the concept of crowdsourcing to carry out work and improve their own development.These cases are mainly concentrated in the following aspects: collection and collation of digital collections,digital resource OCR error correction,digital resource organization description and library Information service.This paper studies a series of excellent crowdsourcing cases in foreign libraries through literature survey methods,network survey methods,and case analysis methods.From the selection of library crowdsourcing tasks,the construction of crowdsourcing platforms,the recruitment of library crowdsourcing volunteers,and From the perspective of incentive mechanism and crowdsourcing quality control methods,we thoroughly analyze the operation mode of crowdsourcing projects in foreign libraries and summarize their successful experience.Finally,the domestic library crowdsourcing practice is summarized,pointing out the deficiencies of domestic libraries in crowdsourcing research and promotion,content selection,platform construction,volunteer control and quality control of results,combined with the actual situation in China,referring to foreign libraries Successful experience of crowdsourcing,put forward suggestions for improving library crowdsourcing in China: strengthen library crowdsourcing research and publicity work,enrich the types of crowdsourcing tasks,improve the interest of crowdsourcing,strengthen the construction of crowdsourcing platforms,and establish effective Volunteer management and incentive mechanism to establish a perfect crowdsourcing quality control mechanism.
