Research On The Status Quo Of University Librarians' Continuing Education

Since the 18th CPC National Congress,the central government has set higher standards for the quality of practitioners in all walks of life.University librarians,as dual builders of education and cultural undertakings,are of course more urgent to improve their quality and capabilities in the new era.Continuing education for college librarians is not only a requirement of the development of the times,but also a promoter of the development of the library cause.At the same time,it is a requirement of the librarians' own development and an inevitable requirement for advancing with the times.Therefore,the subject of continuing education for university librarians has a special era significance and important research value.However,there are still many problems in continuing education for college librarians in Fuzhou which is still immature.Therefore,analyzing the development status of continuing education for college librarians in Fuzhou,identifying the problems and finally putting forward suggestions will help promote the development of continuing education for college librarians.The article selects the nine major college libraries in Fuzhou,and conducts an inductive analysis of the current status of continuing education for college librarians in Fuzhou through research methods such as literature survey,network survey and field survey.Then,through statistical analysis of the survey results,it is found that the current problems of continuing education for college librarians,combined with excellent cases of continuing education for college librarians at home and abroad,and combining with the local characteristics of Fuzhou,finally make specific recommendations.I hope to provide valuable reference for the development of continuing education for university librarians.
