The Design And Implementation Of Continue Education Management System For Tsinghua University

Along with the attention for education from the social public, national education consciousness is becoming higher. Due to the increasing of continuing education’s comprehensive information in Tsinghua university, there are some difficulties in carrying on the management, storage, classification, statistics, etc. In traditional education industry, the way to deal with various kinds of data information of the continuing education is adopting the processing mode of the traditional manual paper which makes the work efficiency of information management at low levels, and not up to the current social development situation. In the realistic society organizations, relying on the information construction in school work can improve service quality and efficiency of daily work. Compared with the traditional way, using the data information of university continuing education school to manage all the related information with Tsinghua university project has a great advantage.In the aspect of technology of continuing education management system for Tsinghua university, it uses object-oriented JAVA development language, and is based on Struts, Hibernate, Spring three layer architecture development. The system uses the current mainstream of MVC design pattern, and realized data layer, control layer, view layer three layers on the implementation. Struts is in the business process logic layer, and it realizes the separation of interface displays and the corresponding logical processing through the use of Struts. Hibernate is in the data access layer, through the operation to system’s database in object-oriented way by Hibernate, we reduce the repeated additional operating procedures for the backend database. The Spring is located in the business layer of J2EE, throughout the view layer, control layer and data layer. In the database design, we uses the current mainstream of SQL SERVER 2012, and storage the system’s internal data through this way.This system implements the relevant teaching, institutions, teachers and students and the information management of statistical analysis. The teaching management function module in continuing education management system for Tsinghua university implements continuing education teaching new relevant data information, modify, delete and audit, at the same time also covers the related design and management for teaching plan. The statistical analysis module implements the internal all kinds of statistical analysis of data and information for system operation. The implementation system of this system also implements the relevant personnel for teaching management, teachers and students management. Through the above all kinds of function together, we can achieve the good coordination of application users’ requirements.Through the development and design, the system overall meets the goal of continuing education management of Tsinghua university. The effective use of this system reduced the inconvenience caused by traditional manual university and improved the management efficiency in the aspect of the continuing education, and it speeded up the informatization development of continuing education in Tsinghua university.
