Research On Datafication Trends Of Development In China Library Science

The research of development trend is the core content of the basic theory of a subject.Big data technology is developing rapidly,and library science,which is closely related to information and data,presents a new trend of datafication.Topics such as data science,data mining,data literacy,and digital humanities have become research hotspots in library science.The development of library science is inseparable from the support of the data environment.Exploring,discovering,mastering and adapting to the datafication trend of the development in library science will have an important impact on the basic theoretical research of library science.It is the task and responsibility of talents in the field of library science.The paper guided by the theory of library science and related disciplines.Using the method of literature investigation,presenting the research hotspots and development trends of the development of datafication of library science in our country in a visual way.Librarianship,library science research and library science education are the current hotspots of the development of datafication of library science research field.Survey results:This research carried out a scale survey on the basis of a literature survey.Based on the survey results,it summarized the basic situation of the datafication trend of library science development,and then conducted interviews on the problem of datafication in library science development.Survey results: First,the datafication trend of the development of library science does exist.The specific manifestation is that the datafication of the development in library science is concentrated in five aspects,and the datafication of the development in library science presents six gradients.Secondly,library practice and library science research have significant datafication,which is mainly reflected in the increased demand for library datafication services and the increase in quantitative analysis of library science research.Finally,the level of datafication of library science education has increased,which is specifically manifested in the integration of datafication into teaching methods and content and the increase in employment requirements of datafication.This study summarized four reasons based on the investigation carried out in the previous period:The country promotes the strategic guidance of the open sharing of data resources;The need for in-depth development of library information resources;The intersection of library science and data science;The data requirements of library science education objects.From the perspective of combining theory with practice,the thesis puts forward a targeted strategy to deal with the datafication of library science.Libraries need to improve data-based precision services,strengthen the ability of librarians to provide data-based services,and actively participate in the construction of data sharing platforms;library science research needs continuous innovation,fusion of data-based thinking,firm library science discipline concepts,and promote collaboration high-quality cross-integration of data science;library science education must clarify the core and improve students' data literacy.It must not only consolidate professional knowledge,integrate data-based thinking,and cultivate professional talents' data-based ability to adapt to career development.
