With the evolution of communication technology and the change of users' demand for network,mobile data services are booming.At the same time,the national "13th Five-Year Plan" clearly proposed to actively promote the rapid development of the fifth generation mobile communication(5G)and ultra-broadband and other key technologies,and start the full commercial use of 5G.Based on this,this paper focuses on the study of wireless propagation model optimization and base station coverage planning under the new 5G scenario,in order to guide station deployment and evaluate network quality,and provide constructive suggestions for achieving high-quality network coverage.Firstly,based on the theory and principle of radio wave propagation,this paper analyzes the basic transmission mode of radio wave and the three main losses in the transmission process,and demonstrates the necessity of using propagation model optimization to plan the indoor and outdoor base station.District planning based on mobile communication network of several traditional indoor and outdoor experience propagation models,each model is analyzed in detail the application of the scene and applicable spectrum,introduced the latest applicable to 5G band 3 gpp38.901 indoor and outdoor propagation model,and compared with the first few classes indoor and outdoor model analysis,through software simulation to get the corresponding propagation loss in different communication environment.Secondly according to the characteristics of wireless channel design for 5G propagation model,simulation and optimization scheme for indoor and outdoor path planning before data collection,measurement tools and test method has carried on the detailed elaboration,and to get the data pretreatment,including sampling,data filtering,average and geographic data the base station offset correction,etc.,combining with the selection of 5C new propagation model and the measured data after pretreatment by using least square method for fitting,got to represent the current dense urban outdoor propagation model and deployment of digital chamber subsystem of indoor propagation models.The prediction results of the model before and after correction are compared with the measured data.The results show that the prediction error of the optimized model is smaller and the accuracy is higher.Based on other measured data in the same area,the simulation experiment is carried out to verify the applicability and matching of the model.Finally,combined with the actual indoor and outdoor signal propagation environment,the total loss and total gain of the system are calculated,a new budget model of 5G link is proposed,and the budget table of 5G NR link is given.At the same time,combined with the optimized indoor and outdoor propagation model,the maximum allowable propagation path loss value is calculated,and the upstream and downstream coverage range of a single base station is obtained,which effectively estimates the coverage capacity of 5G system in the 3.5GHz frequency band.Visual analysis and design of indoor base station coverage planning function are carried out by using platform software such as QT,and scientific prediction of indoor base station range is made by combining different communication models and 5G link budget formula,which provides a reasonable means for the construction of a new generation of mobile communication network.Based on 5G system under the new scene propagation loss wireless system significantly different and the problem of difficult to predict the thorough research,in the planning of the propagation model optimization and cover has obtained certain achievements,the more accurate the 5G of indoor and outdoor propagation model and new model of the link budget,systematic and standardization development for 5G network planning provides reference opinions.
