Project schedule management is in the process of project construction and implementation,in order to ensure that the project can complete the schedule within the specified time,the management process of project activities and schedule.Project schedule management is an important part of project management,on the basis of scientific methods,the process of coordinating time,quality and cost,it is an important guarantee for the successful completion of the project.“intelligent inspection project of IOT in S City”combined with 4G / 5G,power sensor,wireless sensor network,artificial intelligence,edge computing and other technical means,carry out multi company and multi department collaborative implementation,it is a cross company and cross department project with complex production technology and various work items.The project task is big and the time is tigh.In order to ensure the quality and quantity of the project,complete the project on time,it is of great significance to study the project schedule management.This paper summarizes the relevant literature and schedule management theory,According to the actual situation of the project,such as inaccurate estimation of construction period,lack of decomposition and construction control of critical path work,and facing the risk of overdue,conduct sufficient preliminary investigation,combined with the actual situation of trial installation of five base stations,the expert group was convened for discussion,application of work breakdown structure(WBS),critical path method,plan review technology and other project schedule control methods,work out the project schedule based on network plan,it greatly reduces the original planned construction period,so that the project can be completed within the specified time limit.And four measures are used,including improving the progress management process,implementing the plan schedule control based on earned value(earned value)method,project schedule monitoring safeguard measures,strengthening the analysis of dangerous points to prevent safety accidents,effectively manage and control the project schedule to ensure the smooth progress of the project plan.
