Study On The Discourse Of The Front Page Of People's Daily On National Day(1949-2019)

Based on the 1949-2019,the People's Daily National Day on the front page text as the research object,using the synchronic study with diachronic study,the method of combining quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis to explore party political discourse and social change,the relationship between attempts to provide a reference for analysis of news discourse,to a major political rituals reports the improvement ideas and propaganda strategy.This paper is divided into five chapters.First chapter related research of scholars on National Day the front page of text,found the front page of the People's Daily National Day text research mostly focus on layout planning layout and change the way of reporting on new media environment,research on the integrity of the front page of text discourse is not full,based on this,in combination with the discourse theory study of screening,The paper makes a systematic analysis of the front page text of People's Daily National Day with the three-dimensional dimension of Fairclough discourse analysis as the path.The second chapter presents the general situation of the front page of People's Daily National Day in the past 70 years from the two dimensions of text news and newspaper pictures.Text news is considered from three perspectives: subject matter,number of articles and genre.Newspaper pictures are divided into three categories:portraits of leaders,news pictures and text pictures.Through quantitative and qualitative analysis,this paper summarizes the diachronic development characteristics of the front page text of People's Daily National Day.The third chapter enters the text analysis level.With the help of the word frequency analysis tool,this paper makes a statistical analysis on the total word frequency of the front page text of People's Daily National Day in the past 70 years,which is specifically divided into three kinds of high-frequency parts of speech: verb,noun and modal.Based on the division of national history in Chapter 1,all the front-page texts of People's Daily since the founding of the People's Republic of China are divided into two stages and six periods.From a diachronic perspective,the word frequency in National Day texts is analyzed in stages to explore the connotation of The Times behind the high-frequency words.Chapter Four analyzes the intertextuality of discourse practice in National Day front page text from two perspectives: first,the analysis of direct or indirect references as "explicit intertextuality";The second is to analyze the construction and identification of the order of discourse as "constructed intertextuality".According to the characteristics of the samples,it is found that intertextuality not only enhances the readability of the articles,but also enhances readers' identification with the content of the reports to some extent,including the identification in the ritualized presentation of national ideology,public cultural values and political order.The fifth chapter enters into the analysis of social practice level,from three perspectives of politics,economy and culture,and finds the interactive relationship between news discourse and social change.The news discourse reflects the social change,which is an important record of the news discourse to the social development.At the same time,social development also needs the help of news discourse,which is the inevitable requirement of social development for news discourse,and the two complement each other.
