| National Day is an independent nation’s symbol, it carries to reflect the function of state and national cohesion. People’s Daily is the Central Committee of the Party organ, be also the most representative of the position of the party and state. The reports about the national day in People’s Daily always reflect the will of the country.As a carrier for the dissemination of information on the media, news language has an important role in obtaining the dissemination of results. The joy of founding of New China, the rash advance during the general line period, the turbulence of Cultural Revolution, the turning of reform and opening up, in different background, news language has its own unique side. Therefore, besides to analyze the narrative method, the point of view and frames of the report, we can also choose the language of news reports as a starting point to research the nature of the national news.The text perspective and context perspective will be the structural framework of this paper. Firstly, the paper will analyze all elements of language of all front-pages of People’s Daily on National Day, and combine with the context, such as social background, historical background and cultural background, to study the pragmatic objective and effect of National news text.The paper divides into five chapters:In the first chapter, by combing the research in language of news reports and national reports by other scholars, the writer found few studies of People’s Daily’s national news about text itself. These research results provide research ideas and research space for this article.Combined with keywords, the second chapter put all the national front page’s articles into four historical stages. In order to get some basic understanding and awareness of People’s Daily’s news in front page on the national day from the historical perspective.In the third chapter, through statistical analysis, the writer found vocabulary and sentences of national front-page news over the years changes as times, but have a stable style at the same time. The chapter structure of the news and editorials are unified. In addition, layout language on People’s Daily’s national front page has a periodic agreement, including layout., typesetting way, news photos, fonts, font size and color.The fourth chapter analyze and conclude the reasons why the news language of People’s Daily’s front page on national day showing such features and changes. It because of the language environment and cognitive differences of news propagation in different stages, such as the function of journalism,news values, nature of news, publicity and so on.In the last chapter, after analyzing the characteristics and the reasons for the change of national news language, the writer take the perspective of changing the style of writing to give some suggestions of party newspaper’s language in national day report.In short, the full text analyzes the language features and transform of People’s Daily’s reports on national day since the founding of PRC. The ultimate goal of this research is to reflect in the actual operation of the national news coverage, and to provide some useful proposal of national report writing and reform in party newspaper in the future. |
