A Study Of "One Belt And One Road" Report From The Perspective Of Framework Theory Taking The Front Page Report Of People's Daily As An Example

Nazarbayev University is located in Astana,the capital of Kazakhstan.President Xi Jinping gave a speech here in September 2013.It is also here to propose the construction of the “Silk Road Economic Belt”.In October of the same year,an initiative to build the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road" was proposed.This is the origin of the “Belt and Road” initiative that we often refer to now.However,the initiative is not a slogan.The “Belt and Road Initiative” is committed to building an open regional economic cooperation platform.It has achieved many results in five years and brought unprecedented opportunities for participating countries along the route..The “Belt and Road Initiative” is aimed at the layout of the world's big picture,affecting the eyes of the people in China and the world.Many media have followed up and interpreted it.The most trusted by the audience is China's most authoritative.Party newspaper "People's Daily".Since its publication in 1948,People's Daily has reported many major news events at home and abroad and has its own mature news production framework.This article mainly studies how the front page of the People's Daily from 2013 to 2018 uses the news framework to promote the “Belt and Road”.This study uses sample analysis,text analysis and content analysis to analyze and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of People's Daily in disseminating information about the “Belt and Road”.It can not only provide research reference for academics,but also provide reference for journalists to use news framework theory for news production.This will not only enable the people to obtain relevant information in a timely manner,but also help China to shape a responsible and responsible big country image at the international level and create a good public opinion environment for building a "community of human destiny."As we all know,any media currently has a pre-set framework in its operation,as the most authoritative party newspaper in China.This paper selects the news report of the "Belt and Road" from the front page of People's Daily from 2013 to 2018 as the research object.Combining the theory of news framework proposed by Taiwan scholar Yan Guoren,it uses two methods of literature analysis and content analysis.The macro and micro levels are analyzed,involving the number of reports,the length of the report,the news genre,and the subject of the report.Finally,through the research,it is concluded that “People's Daily” has the characteristics of high and readable subject matter,medium and long-length reports,and mainly in the political and economic fields.The tendency is clear,and news reports are more “human” than before.However,it is necessary to carry out more transposition thinking,pay attention to listening to the voices of neighboring countries,broaden the scope of reports,and deepen cultural exchanges;focus on explaining news and satisfying the needs of the audience.Only in this way can the People's Daily report on the “One Belt,One Road” initiative.Get better communication results.
