Research On Female Images In Domestic Workplace Dramas

TV dramas are a window to understand social reality and the development of the times.In recent years,workplace dramas about women have become a hot topic on television and have attracted attention.The research object of this article is the female workplace drama broadcasted after my country's reform and opening up.By summarizing the mainstream professional female images in workplace dramas in different social stages,I will think about the connection between female media images and social changes,explore the reasons why screenwriters create different female images in workplace dramas,and try to find out the issues that TV drama creators should pay attention to when portraying female images.This article is divided into four chapters,specifically as follows:In the introduction of the first chapter,I will sort out the background of workplace dramas and the development of feminism,so as to clarify the specific research direction and research value of this thesis;Chapter Two,the starting point of time is the 1990s of reform and opening up(before this time,there was no special workplace drama in our country),sorting out the relatively mainstream female images presented in workplace dramas in different social stages.They are summarized as the image of "time fighter","moral model","Cinderella" and "strong woman".They reflect the turbulent changes in the real society over the past few decades and the living conditions of women;The third chapter mainly explains the reasons for the formation of female images in domestic workplace dramas since the reform and opening up,including the discipline of mainstream culture,the domination of patriarchal culture,the call of consumer culture,and the active awakening of female consciousness;The fourth chapter focuses on the enlightenment brought by female images in workplace dramas,including the positive meaning of female images,the problems of workplace dramas in shaping female images,and suggestions for TV drama creators in shaping female images.The female images in the workplace drama have broken free from the stereotype of being constrained in the family space under the traditional gender order,and havethe courage to find women's right to speak and self-worth in the workplace.In the workplace drama,the female consciousness of women has gone from being obscured to constantly awakening,and has embarked on a unique path for women in the workplace.Screenwriters should pay attention to the shaping of female images,create positive and healthy female images,and guide female workplace dramas to find a path that is more suitable for their own development.
