Since the beginning of 2020,the "global core shortage trend" has lasted for nearly two years.The "core shortage" has led to insufficient supply of global automobiles and consumer electronics represented by Huawei mobile phones,which has affected all aspects of people's lives.Behind the "lack of cores" is the insufficient operation of the international integrated circuit industry chain.As a strategic emerging industry strongly supported by the country,integrated circuits have high-risk,high-input,and high-tech characteristics that have caused countries all over the world to attach great importance to their national strategic security.Industry-university-research cooperation can effectively make up for the lack of innovation capabilities of the main body and increase the transformation rate of innovation results.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the impact of the integrated circuit industry industry-university-research cooperation network on innovation performance,and combine the research results to propose corresponding policy recommendations to promote the development of the integrated circuit industry and ensure that the country's key core technologies are not caught by other countries.This article uses the patent information on the official website of the State Intellectual Property Office as the data source,and uses social network analysis and empirical analysis methods to study the objective patent data of the integrated circuit industry industry-university-research cooperation in the integrated region of the Yangtze River Delta and the whole country.First,from the four stages of the development of the integrated circuit industry,it analyzes the evolution of patent cooperation trends,main geographical trends and development policies,supplemented by the research on the network topology and cluster evolution of the development of the integrated circuit industry.Secondly,using Stata15 software to conduct negative binomial regression analysis to study the influence of the position and relationship strength of the industry-university-research network of the integrated circuit industry on innovation performance.At the same time,control variables such as clustering coefficient,network density,depth of knowledge,and first-tier cities are added to further explore the influence of integrated circuit industry network characteristics in the Yangtze River Delta on innovation performance.The results show:(1)Structural holes positively affect innovation performance.(2)The influence of the network center position is not significant.Through research,it is found that the location of the network center negatively affects innovation performance for the whole country;in the integration of the Yangtze River Delta,the impact is positive.(3)For the whole country,the strength of network relationship has an inverted U-shaped relationship with innovation performance,and it has a positive impact on the integrated region of the Yangtze River Delta.Finally,based on the network evolution analysis and empirical results,corresponding policy recommendations are put forward from the government,industry,and enterprise levels.
