In the era of knowledge-based economy,innovation is recognized as the core driver of economic development.The study of innovation network has become one of the hot issues of recent academic circles.IC industry is the foundation of the whole electronic information industry and has an important impact on the comprehensive strength of the country.The analysis of the intrinsic structure of the innovation network of IC industry and its evolution mechanism can help grasp the changing rules and trends of innovation cooperation within the city and industry,respond to the complex market changes and the fierce competition in the industry,and is crucial to the innovation-driven development of the industry.It also provides a basis for the governance of urban industrial organization and guides the optimization of industrial innovation.In this paper,we analyze the current situation of innovation cooperation in Chinese IC industry and sort out the process of spatial and temporal evolution of IC industry innovation network with the help of UNCINET,Gephi,ArcGIS and other related software.The topological structure of the network and the evolution characteristics of the spatial pattern are summarized.Finally,based on the perspective of multidimensional proximity,the negative binomial regression model and SAOM model are introduced,and the factors influencing network innovation cooperation in China's IC industry are investigated with the help of relevant software such as Stata and R language,and the evolution process is sorted out for evidence.The following conclusions are drawn.(1)Through the study,this paper finds that regional innovation development that overemphasizes external knowledge will inhibit the development potential of local independent innovation;if local linkages are overemphasized,it will cause the problem of path locking.The results of the study evaluate the shortcomings of existing theories and emphasize that innovation network research should take into account the evolutionary trajectory and the integration of internal and external linkages.(2)The scale of the innovation network of IC industry increases and the density decreases,the central potential of the network becomes higher and higher,the smallworld characteristics of the network are not significant,and the overall "core-edge" structure is obvious,which basically forms a regional hierarchy of inter-city innovation cooperation based on IC industry.(3)From 2000 to 2018,the innovation centers of China's IC industry gradually expanded from the east to the central and western regions,and the core cities became the first choice for establishing innovation links in the network.The spatial structure of China's IC industry innovation network is mainly "umbrella" with Beijing as the apex,and then tends to "rhombus" structure with the evolution.The network as a whole is evolving from "one point and three axes" to "one point and multiple axes".(4)The factors influencing inter-city innovation cooperation in IC industry include city innovation strength and multi-dimensional proximity.The intensity of inter-city innovation cooperation in IC industry is proportional to the innovation capability of cities,and the geographical proximity,social proximity,institutional proximity and cognitive proximity all have significant positive effects on the innovation cooperation in IC industry,which actively promote the innovation cooperation among cities in IC industry.(5)The development and evolution of IC industry innovation networks are driven by a combination of network structural characteristics,city characteristics,and multidimensional proximity.All dimensions of proximity play a positive role in the evolution of IC industry innovation network.There are substitution effects between cognitive proximity and geographic proximity,and between social proximity and geographic proximity.Rootedness promotes the circulation of innovation knowledge and can facilitate the development of innovation networks,and network status has a certain negative impact on the development of innovation networks.
