As the first step in the implementation of C bank software system, requirement management has an important impact on the system cycle.Due to the growing number of business needs, the pressure of the development team is also increasing. The intrinsic requirement management process has been unable to meet the current management requirements, which leads to the problem of long demand implementation cycle, which makes the demand can not be completed according to the plan, and brings risks such as customer satisfaction reduction and corporate reputation damage. In order to solve the problem, this paper uses six sigma DMAIC method to find out the key issue, which is affecting the requirement management process of C Bank, including "lack of requirement elements","low efficiency of requirement management tools","lack of requirements priority classification ".In this paper, the reasons for the key problems are analyzed in depth, and a specific process improvement program is formulated to control them. Finally, the improved process is applied to the requirements management process of Bank C.Finally, the practice results prove that the Six Sigma DMAIC method can play an effective role in the process of improving the demand management process of Bank C,and has achieved good improvement results, and the implementation cycle of demand has been significantly improved. In this paper, the Six Sigma method has been improved in the demand management process of Bank C,which has a certain degree of application innovation. At present, there are relatively few studies on IT demand management in bank. This paper can be used as a reference for other banks or enterprises to design or improve related processes, and it has a certain guiding role for other bank and industries.
