Software requirement analysis is one of the most important process in software life cycle. And it has vital effect on the quality of the developed software. Unfortunately, with the extensive application of information technology and its increasing complexity, none of the systems can completely avoid the requirement change. The requirement changes during the software life cycle lead to the increase of the project cost, the decline of the software quality, delays in the project schedule, or even the failure of the entire software projects.Therefore, the key issues we must face and resolve are to scientifically manage and control the requirement and requirement change.The question of the requirement change in software projects was analyzed. And then the methods of the software process metrics for managing and control the requirement scientifically were studied. Furthemore, a metric model for the software requirement management based on GQM model was established. And the requirement change metrics and analysis framework based on Six Sigma was put forward. Six Sigma emphasizes the importance of measurement, and it based on data collection and statistic analyze. The metrics on how to build software metric process with the combination of Six Sigma "DMAIC" improvement model were build. In the analysis process, many statistical technologies in the Six Sigma were used. And this makes the requirement change metrics to be really scientific quantitative analysis.The analysis framework of software requirement change metric based on Six Sigma was established in this dissertation. And it makes the innovation of the requirement management model and brings the Six Sigma idea which widely used in manufacture industry into software development organization.
