The Application Of Agile Development In Soft Project Process Management Of Z Company

As a company providing intermediary insurance system products and customized services,Z Company has steadily increased its market share in the insurance industry after years of development.The project department and research and development team have gradually grown,but the ensuing project management work has also doubled,and the efficiency of inter-team collaboration has decreased.At the same time,the requirements of the system construction from the customer side are larger and more complex,the number of important stakeholders involved is also multiplied,the demand management of the overall project is more difficult,and the demand changes are frequent.Company Z found that the waterfall development method adopted in the past was difficult to implement and manage the project process.Project delivery was frequently delayed,team collaboration was inefficient,production capacity declined significantly,and even started to lose money.By analyzing the common and mature software project development model theories,this study clarified the characteristics of each model and the applicable software construction project types,and compared with the characteristics of Z Company's current similar construction projects.At the same time,case study,research interview,qualitative analysis and other methods are used to analyze the problems and root causes in Z Company's project process management at the present stage.Finally,the conclusion is drawn that it is reasonable and feasible for Z Company to adopt waterfall development method in the first stage of the project,but it should be replaced with agile development method in the second stage of the project.Then,according to the current situation and problems in the construction process of Z Company's current software project,the application scheme based on Scrum method was designed in line with Z Company's actual situation,and the ZZB project was taken as the pilot project to implement the application scheme.Finally,by comparing the implementation of ZZB project with the similar projects implemented before ZZB project team became agile,it was found that Z Company adopted the agile development method based on SCRUM in the second phase of the project:timely delivery rate increased significantly,customer satisfaction recovered,and the production capacity of the project team increased significantly.The successful case of ZZB project adopting agile development method has an important reference value for Z Company's software project management,which can help Z Company to comprehensively promote agile development method in the project department,improve the production capacity of each project team,win back customer satisfaction,and overcome the survival crisis.At the same time,it is also hoped that this study can provide some reference value for the same industry or even cross-industry software development companies or teams when they transition to agile development methods.
