Research On The Production Logic Of Data Journalism

The development and evolution of the environment and forms the information spread has left us exposed to the age of Big Data. Whether you like it or not, human beings have considerably entered into a time driven forward by Data.Being the core resources of social functioning, organization managing and personal life, Big Data has imbedded in all aspects of social life. This distinctive characteristic of the time is directly embodied in the rise of Data Journalism. As a fresh enterprise distinguished from traditional news production modes, Data Journalism is superior in innovation of production modes and methods, which is more embodied with a creative development of its production logic.According to the prophase researches conducted by other related scholars and the understanding of Data Journalism and news production, this paper first definite the concept "production logic".The definition contains two main parts:one is the objective laws during the process of producing news; the other is the thinking rules of the producers engaged in Data Journalism production and the practice guided by the rules.Rather, this paper attempts to conduct research on the production logic of Data Journalism based on the unique definition of Data Journalism, through carding on the line of its production, expecting to provide related basic theories and useful references for Data Journalism practice.Through analyzing from the perspectives of the background, innovation of production logic, production process, organization pattern and the logical flaws based on the production, this paper aims to put forward the corresponding strategies and suggestions to those existing logical flaws.
