As an indispensable part of our excellent traditional culture,food culture is deeply reflected in all aspects of our people's production and life.The short videos of country cuisine with vivid images present the gorgeous landscape of food culture to a broad audience,and that people's souls are touched according to traditional food with humanistic feeling and cultural connotation.Furthermore,it shows the multiple aspects of food culture for ordinary people and brings the good social effect.The presentation of food culture through short videos of country cuisine has a certain enlightenment for the use of modern media to develop traditional culture.To this end,this article selects the short videos of country cuisine with clearer style and greater influence as the starting point,and then the presentation of food culture in the short videos of country cuisine is taken as the research object.The research is comprehensively conducted by text analysis,questionnaires and participatory observation of research methods.The content of this article is divided into six chapters.The introduction of the first chapter sorts out the relevant research progress at home and abroad.The aims are to define the core concepts of this article based on the research background and explore the significance and innovation of this study,finally design research ideas and methods.The second chapter combs out the development process of food culture and short videos of country cuisine from the perspective of historical evolution.Moreover,this part analyzes the characteristics of food culture and the value of the time,which are revealed from the process of spreading the historical trajectory of food culture.Subsequently,the characteristics and advantages of short videos of country cuisine that spread food culture are summarized.The third chapter explains the relationship between food culture and symbols from the perspective of cultural semiotics,and analyzes the linguistic and non-verbal symbols utilizing the short videos of country cuisine.It is noticeable to find that the linguistic symbols reflect the spiritual value and aesthetic value of food culture.Additionally,non-verbal symbols such as food,eating customs,eating utensils and eating scenes convey a more ambitious meaning of food culture.The fourth chapter analyzes the propagation effects of the food culture presented from the short videos of country cuisine by the questionnaires.The propagation effects are demonstrated from the basic situation of the audience,the contact situation with the food culture in the short videos of country cuisine,and the evaluation of the three dimensions.In the fifth chapter of this article,we propose improved strategies based on the current problems in the presentation short videos of country cuisine.The previous research results are summarized in chapter 6.Based on the abovementioned research,three major problems are proposed:the homogenization of short video contents and the lack of original features;the absence of deep connotation of food culture and shallow cultural significance;fuzzy brand positioning and single profit model.This article puts forward suggestions with reference value for improvement of short videos of country cuisine.Specifically,the various food cultures are vigorously developed to improve the quality of short videos;the accumulation of food culture is deeply explored to highlight cultural value.Ultimately,the high-quality cultural brands and profit channels are expanded to establish the theoretical foundation,providing a pathway for optimizing the transmission of food culture under the premise.
