Research On The Problem Of Communication Ethics Of Algorithmic News And Its Countermeasures

Algorithmic news is the product of the combination of artificial intelligence technology and the news communacation industry.It has changed the production and communacation of traditional news.It can accurately match content and user interests,realize personalized recommendations,and meet users' personal needs and facilitate access to information.Due to various reasons,the problem of communacation ethics of algorithm news has become increasingly prominent at this stage.Among the many algorithm platforms,"Today's Toutiao" APP is the first to apply algorithm technology to the news field,and has the largest user base and highest activity.Through the case analysis of the application of algorithm technology on the Toutiao platform,we can explore the current communacation ethics problems of algorithm news,and propose targeted and effective countermeasures to provide effective ethical norms for algorithm news in the era of early intelligence media.Except for the introduction,the full text is divided into four chapters.The first chapter summarizes the concept of algorithm news and the development status of today's Toutiao APP.By expounding the development process of algorithm news,it is found that the understanding of algorithm news in academia continues to deepen with technological progress.Now algorithm news is an algorithm recommendation service system that can use personalized recommendation technology to meet the individual needs of users.The second chapter studies the application of algorithm technology in Toutiao aggregation algorithm platforms from three perspectives through case analysis.One is the operation process of algorithm news;the second is the gatekeeper of algorithm news;and the third is the content limitation of algorithm news.It is found that there will be some ethical anomie in the production and communacation of algorithm news.The third chapter is the focus of this article.Through the previous research on the application of algorithm news in aggregating algorithm platforms,on this basis,we can explore and summarize the problems of communacation ethics caused by algorithm news.The research found that the current communacation ethics problems caused by algorithmic news are embodied in five aspects: privacy leakage;content entertainment;algorithmic bias;information cocoon reinforcement and the collapse of multiple views.This chapter also interviewed two related operators of Toutiao through in-depth interviews,and obtained first-hand information from which the reasons behind the anomie of algorithmic news ethics were derived.The fourth chapter proposes countermeasures to the problem of communacation ethics caused by algorithm news from the technical level,professional level and legal supervision level.The technical level can incorporate ethical norms into algorithm models,construct algorithm transparency mechanisms and expand algorithm diversity for practice.The professional level can be improved from journalism professionalism,humanistic concern and personal media literacy.The level of legal supervision can be guaranteed from the formulation of laws and regulations,the supervision of algorithm platforms,and the quality of information content.In summary,this article analyzes the application of algorithm news on the platform,studies and discovers the existing ethical anomie problems and proposes countermeasures,so as to promote the development of algorithm news in a sustainable and healthy direction.
