Media ethics is a collection of professional ethics and industry norms that the media and all its practitioners should follow in the mass communication process.Under the background of the rapid development of information technology,the main algorithm recommended by Today's Headlines recommended that the news client develop rapidly.The algorithm recommendation meets the needs of most audiences for pushing information on demand,and also solves the problem of information overload.At the same time,however,media ethics misconduct is frequent.This study takes "Algorithm Recommendation" in Today's Headlines as the research object,and clarifies the specific media ethical issues generated by the algorithm recommendation.Combined with the questionnaire survey method to analyze the use and experience of the audience under the recommendation of the Today's Headline algorithm.In addition,using case analysis,literature analysis and other methods to conduct in-depth research on the specific media ethical issues arising from the recommendation of the Today Headlines algorithm,analyze the causes,and put forward corresponding suggestions.Through the analysis of the questionnaire and specific cases,it is concluded that the media ethical issues recommended by the Today's Headline algorithm mainly include the lack of audit responsibility,media power abuse and information production rights and interests.The lack of audit responsibility includes two aspects.The first is the platform's emphasis on algorithm technology and the neglect of the importance of manual review.Secondly,it is over-conforming to the audience.Its direct performance is that the content of the Today's Headlines platform is mixed;the abuse of media power leads to The direct phenomenon is the misleading concept of the audience,leading to the formation of the phenomenon of “information mortuary” and the phenomenon of “group polarization”.In addition,the abuse of media power also includes excessive use of the personal privacy of the audience;Infringement of the copyright of information producers hinders the innovation of content production and the improvement of content quality.The deep reasons for the media ethical issues recommended by the Today's Headlines algorithm are analyzed,including the lack of state and platform regulatory measures,the existence of technology neutral thinking,and the development of information communication environment.First,the lack of regulatory measures is simultaneously Including the lag of the system,the failure of the implementation of industry supervision and the blurring of the boundaries of news copyrights;secondly,because of the existence of technological neutrality,Today's Headlines advocate that algorithm technology has no values,and the platform "four senses are weak."
