The Kuaishou,a short video application,rural users in the Northeast have the largest number of short video creators.for instance,Xin Youzhi,an entrepreneur who donated 150 million yuan during this hard period,the "Northeast Snake Brother"who performed 2017 annual drama-the "Birth of Death".Additionally,no matter some people who have endogenous humor or eye-catching singing skills,they can always find the best way that suits themselves as well as their subscribers,attracting enough attention.It is undeniable that with the development of informatization and the emerging of new social media forms,Even rural residents is the latest group to accept new things,they also have opportunities and platforms for self-expression via this app.Compared to the aesthetic content in the urban community,the content of videos that rural citizens created are relatively limit.Under this background,in order to follow the technological logic of social media and gain public attention to make money,rural short video makers only acting to show weird visual scenes in an extreme and extraordinary way.Northeast China's rural short video creators have been stigmatized among the fast players for a long time.Currently,the academic research pay more attention to a global range instead of the local community in the northeast of China.This paper intends to start with the short videos that the users shoot,create and upload by themselves,following by selecting 300 short videos as research samples.Content analysis will be involved in estimating the suitable video content might use as identifiers.Using the research outcomes as factors,through literature analysis,in-depth interviews and other research methods from the social,cultural,psychological and other aspects analyze the media image that performed by the rural group in the Northeast region in the Kuaishou app.Studies have shown that the positive and negative images of rural groups in Northeast China are obvious.They can be home builders,life improvers or maintainers of social order.On contrast,they also can become performers in Northeastern rural areas,self-image defilers or self-defeating exiles.When the short video becomes a performance of realization,in other words,it will operate in a creative way based on real life to satisfy other audience's inherent imagination of Northeast China.Psychologically,from small traffic clicks to large class mobility,while they achieved a sense of successful but also had great anxiety.They was disappointed with the cultural leadership and modernity of the city so they are likely to behave extremely for the purpose of self-ridicule and relaxation.In summary,understand the content and type of self-construction of the short-term video creator's image in north-eastern China.Futhermore,the study aimed to examine the psychological motivation and provide the guidelines of improvement in a targeted way to breakthrough the urban-rural differentiation.Thereby,formed a relative recognition of the "natural form" of the rural communities.Thus,restoring the cultural self-confidence and self-awareness as well as mitigating the problems of urban-rural duality and regional discrimination.
