In recent years,non-fiction writing has arisen in China and attracted wide attention from all walks of life."Non-fiction writing" is a writing way to record real events and characters with literary style,which combines the objective authenticity of news reports with the story-telling of literary works,and satisfies the audience's need for perception of the real world and aesthetic pursuit of literature and art.China is in a period of rapid development,which provides abundant materials for non-fiction writing.In the era of mobile Internet,information dissemination is increasingly fragmented,and audiences have new demands and expectations for complete and high-quality text content.At the same time,the media industry is also experiencing a dramatic change in the ecological environment,and more and more multimedia practitioners are beginning to seek a new way,"creation" and "change" have become the common pursuit of the entire media industry.It is in this context that nonfiction writing itself has ushered in unprecedented opportunities for development,and also brought new inspirations for the direction of reform for the news industry.In October 2015,eight media platforms jointly launched the "non-fiction creation alliance",which brought the attention of all circles to non-fiction writing to a climax.As a way of writing,nonfiction writing is an important supplement to news reporting.To some extent,non-fiction works adapt to the law of communication of Internet media,and can provide reference for news media in the aspect of content production,enrich the forms of media reports,and inject new vitality into news production.As a kind of content production in the Internet era,the development path of nonfiction writing also echoes the logic of content entrepreneurship.In 2016,the film and television adaptation rights of the non-fiction work "the story of the Pacific escape" were sold at a high price of one million yuan,making the commercial realization of non-fiction a hot topic of discussion in the industry.Building a non-fiction platform and expanding the profit channel through the realization of platform and content may become another mode to realize media income in the process of media transformation.At present,the development of nonfiction writing in China has begun to take shape,with a large number of platforms focusing on nonfiction creation emerging,including both professional platforms relying on traditional media or large media groups,and commercial platforms operating independently.In the aspect of content production,it presents the characteristics of operation platform,creator civilian,form diversification and content socialization.In terms of profit model,non-fiction writing mainly relying on We Chat public platform,shape the content customization,publishing,advertising,community operation,courses and brand cooperation,copyright selling and film and television,such as the eight patterns,an exploration of non-fiction writing the first step in the commercialization and profit,but each kind of model of concrete operation still need improve.Starting from the macro background of media transformation,this paper selects a total of 287 works with the highest reading volume per month on the five non-fiction platforms of "noon-story","GQ Report","Renwu Magazine","True Story Project",and "China30s" from October 2015 to September 2019,and makes an in-depth analysis of them with the method of content analysis,hopes to summarize the current development of nonfiction writing in content production in China.At the same time,through in-depth interviews of non-fiction professionals,this paper explores the current existing profit model and the future development direction,so as to provide references for the innovative content production of news media and the expansion of profit model.This paper is divided into five chapters: the first chapter is the introduction.This chapter expounds the background,significance and methods of this research,and systematically reviews the existing research on media transformation and nonfiction writing.The second chapter,based on the conclusion of content analysis,summarizes the current development status of nonfiction writing in China.The third chapter,mainly based on the information obtained from in-depth interviews,describes in detail the existing six major business models of nonfiction writing,and proposes the difficulties existing in the current model and the future direction of efforts.The fourth chapter looks at the profit and commercialization of nonfiction writing,and proposes that the industry may face risks such as loss of authenticity,balance and creative freedom in this process,so as to serve as a warning.Chapter five,based on the contents of chapter two,three and four,explains the enlightenment brought by the profit model of nonfiction writing to the media transformation.
