Research On The Media Image Of Scientists In The Mainstream Media In China's Mainland Since The Reform And Opening Up

Since the reform and opening,the scientists as a group,which is closely linked with the social and cultural changes its media image presents a dynamic development situation,as an important issue in science communication,understand the reason behind this change is of great significance,as a result,this paper tries to explore in the process of the image changes,concrete can be divided into stages of what? What frameworks and discourse strategies are used in the media at different stages? What are the underlying social reasons behind this?In order to investigate the root cause of the scientists behind the media image change with specific rendering,in 1978,for the time of this research starting point,choose a representative of the Guan Mming daily,the CNTV,and the micro bolg of CCTV's news reports of the three mainstream media as the research object,they are all central party and government organs of the media,has profound intellectual audience base,also represents from last century between age of print and digital media in the 21 st century media patterns change process,this article is to explore for40 years in different medium environment,the scientists image construction and the digestion process.This research adopts the Fairclough's text(micro),discourse practice(medium),social practice(macro)three dimensional analysis method,the three kinds of media forms of research scientists reported in the mainstream media,by trying to specific text discuss scientists media image characteristics and change law of development,on the basis of examining the discourse strategies and social context behind it.In terms of the structure of the paper,this research is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,which combs the status quo of the media image research and discourse analysis of scientists at home and abroad,and then proposes the research problems and research methods of this paper.The second part mainly aimed at 1978-2019,the Guangming Daily,CNTV,the micro blog of CCTV's reported ofscientists by text analysis,among them,the analysis of the Guangming Daily,the gum's package way,scientists identified the news building framework,CNTV and micro blog of CCTV is through the analysis of the use of rhetoric,modality and determine the characteristics of the medium image.The third part is the analysis of discourse practice,using the explicit intertextuality and constructed intertextuality proposed by fairclough to discuss the concrete discourse strategies of media image construction.The fourth part is the analysis of social practice,analyzing the social context behind the changing process of the image of scientists.Finally,the paper summarizes the whole paper and discusses the shortcomings of the research.The study found that(1)In the aspect of text analysis,print the history of politics,economy,culture and education news framework of three perspectives,and in the CNTV coverage of the scientists,conflicts and negative and warning from three aspects of media image,in the micro blog of CCTV,image of scientists reported the stereotype to day-to-day work,a leading scientist of the idolization and low credibility marginalization tendency of scientists.(2)In the discourse practice level,this paper mainly analyzes the fair krogh proposed the text of the production process,analysis the intertextuality of path to text,from the two types of intertextuality is discussed,the first to clear intertextuality,guangming daily,use the vertical intertextuality,word description and negative way to three types of intertextuality.The second is constructive intertextuality,which is mainly manifested as intertextuality in genre and intertextuality in discourse style.(3)Finally,in the aspect of social practice,in this paper,the scientists media image change of social practice are summarized,including two aspects of social causes and social impact,social causes that the images of ideology,the change of media ecological environment and the gradual democratization,word order together to shape and construct the media image of the40 years,scientists,and social impact is to construct the belief system of the social identity and social scientists.
