Research On News Reporting Strategy Of Major Unexpected Events

The relatively strong social influence of major unexpected events determines its high social attention.From the perspective of news reports,these emergencies play an active role in guiding and controlling social public opinion,social mobilization,and stabilizing citizens' emotions.In 2015,a huge explosion happened in Tianjin Port.The local media in Tianjin exposed many problems in the event report,which led to the people's extreme dissatisfied.Therefore,the local media of Tianjin needs to explore a more complete and important emergency reporting strategy to enhance its own level of news reporting,and then fully play its own functions and adapt to the development of the times.This paper expounds the concepts and theoretical basis of news reporting of major emergencies.Taking the "Tianjin Port Explosion Accident" as a case study,it makes a detailed analysis of the occurrence of the incident and the actual reports of the central mainstream media and local mainstream media in Tianjin.It also explores the reports of the central-level media,People's Daily,CCTV News and local media in Tianjin on Tianjin Port.The report characteristics of the explosion accident,and found that the local media in Tianjin lack of coverage in the areas of new media,self-Media dominated,did not establish an early warning mechanism for major emergencies,and did not have enough humanistic care.Through comparison and analysis,we can get four suggestions to improve the local media's coverage of major emergencies in Tianjin.Firstly,to enhance the professionalism of local mainstream media coverage;secondly,to establish an emergency mechanism for reporting major emergencies;thirdly,to exploit the position of public opinion by using new media platform;fourthly,to embody people-oriented and humanistic care.The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of Tianjin mainstream media to report and plan major emergencies,to better play the functions of accurate reporting of major emergencies,good guidance to the public opinion environment,education to the society and the masses,and refuting rumors of bad public opinion,to assist the government in dealing with major emergencies,and to better meet the needs of government decision-making and public opinion.The need for public knowledge promotes the maintenance of regional stability and the construction of a harmonious socialist society.
