As a representative product of the cultural industry,the variety show is an important traffic guarantee for domestic and foreign TV stations and video websites.Variety shows have their own entertainment genes since they were born.Most of the cultural content was broadcast in the form of broadcast segments and rarely appeared in variety shows.At present,the popular broadcast of variety shows with traditional culture as the core content is a good opportunity to enhance the independent innovation of variety shows.In the process of establishing cultural self-confidence in China,the original expression of traditional cultural variety shows is an important media expression,and it is also an important path for the creative development of traditional cultural innovation.This research is divided into four parts: the introduction explains the research background and significance of this research,analyzes the current research status at home and abroad,identifies related concepts,and explains the research ideas and framework.The first chapter sorts out the development context of traditional cultural variety shows.It is divided into three stages: the budding period(early 1990 s to early 2000s),the exploration period(early 21 st century to 2013),and the development period(2013to present).This research analyzes traditional cultural variety shows in each stage as the branch of variety shows,how it evolved from being an ancillary element to being a core content.Traditional cultural variety shows have been explored in the early stages,and they have become popular during the development period.The second chapter analyzes the characteristics and generating environment of traditional cultural variety shows.After observing the contents and types of popular traditional cultural variety shows,it is concluded that it has three major characteristics of cultural,interactive and entertaining.Then it analyzes the social environment generated by the popular traditional cultural variety shows.The influence of politics,technology,culture and other factors on the generation of hits.The third chapter is the analysis of the generation of traditional cultural variety shows.It explores the generation mechanism from the three aspects of production,dissemination and acceptance.It considers that national discourse is the driving force of traditional cultural variety production,and ritualized communication are the sharing motivation of traditional cultural variety shows.Cultural identity is the key to acceptance of traditional cultural variety shows.In the development process of traditional cultural variety shows,they gradually showed stable characteristics.Under the influence of many factors,the phenomenon of hot broadcast appeared.This is not only the discourse space of seeking cultural interpretation under the environment of extensive entertainment communication,but also the important embodiment of cultural self-confidence in the film and television culture.
