With the continuous progress of urbanization construction,China's former urban-rural dualism model is gradually eliminated,cultural exchange and collision are increasingly frequent,the living environment of different strata are changing at all times,and a lot of marginalization problems arise "Fringe." They are an ethnic group easily abandoned,excluded or neglected by the mainstream culture in the society,and they contribute their own strength to the construction of the city and the development of the society.However,due to the disequilibrium of voice and low media attention,the social image will inevitably be rigid,one-sided,and low social recognition.Although the television media has begun to focus on ordinary people's lives,the "fringe" coverage remains a blind spot in the column of people in the plane news media.In this context,based on the theory of cultural representation,this paper selects 214 "marginal people" reports of Southern People Weekly from 2015 to 2019 as a research sample,classifies and reports the patterns of their characters.In the aspect of discourse generation and representation system construction,sample analysis is carried out,and relevant data are collated.On the one hand,the author probes into the unique discourse system and its special social image of "marginal people" in order to enlighten the later "marginal people" news report from the point of view of news editing.On the other hand,it explores a better way to construct cultural identity,promotes the society to safeguard the rights and interests of "marginal people," and tries to change the status of marginalization of "marginal people."...
