Praise And Mobilization:A Research On Labor Day Reports Of The People's Daily After The Founding Of The People's Republic Of China(1949-2018)

Labor Day is a great festival for the working class and the working masses.Since the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949,the state has been paying attention to the propaganda of Labor Day for 70 years,and has formed memories of Labor Day in the process of its continuous construction of the meidia.Through the study of Labor Day report of the People's Daliy since the founding of the People's Republic of China,this paper combs and analyzes the way of the People's Daily narrates the core topic of"labor"in the different stages of the development of social history.In the process of this paper,the Labor Day report of the people's Daily is viewed from the theoretical perspecti've of collective memory,which makes up for the blank ofjournalism on Labor Day research.Firstly,this paper constructs the Labor Day report from 6 dimensions,reporting period,reporting position,reporting source,reporting genre,reporting subject and reporting theme,encodes the whole sample report,and further carries on the descriptive content analysis according to the coding result.Then,the Labor Day report since the founding of the nation is divided into four historical periods,namely,the early stage of the founding of the nation,the Cultural Revolution,the early period of reform and opening up,the era of market economy,and then four different historical periods of Labor Day is carried on the diachronic depth of the text interpretation,that is to explore the The relationship between the way Labor Day is told and its social background in the different periods.The study found that in the past 70 years,the People's Daily,influenced by the situation of the social countries,has told a variety of different'"labor"to the working class and the vast number of workers in different historical stages"Campaign to increase production and practice economy”,'Supporting World Peace",”Fighting,Approvaling,Reforming","Grasping the Revolution,Promoting Production"and so on.But what lies behind the media impressions of these”labor"is what the country really wants to convey,that is,the praise and mobilization of labor,which has been maintained by the Labor Day report of the people's Daily since the founding of the People's Republic of China.
