In recent years,well-known news awards at home and abroad have received widespread attention for the quality of their works.In order to obtain honors,it is not uncommon to “create” honors through unfair competition:news photos are severely PS,the authenticity of the broadcast is doubtful,re-production for the review...Not only the China News Awards,which are the highest awards for outstanding news works in China,but also the highest honor awards in the global press as early as the 1970 s and 1980 s,known as the "Nobel Prize in the Press" —-The Pulitzer Prize for Journalism also has the above problems.The issue of the quality of news works has created a “crisis of trust”for the audience,so that the 2019 Pulitzer News Awards will say “Why people no longer trust the media?”This article published in the most prominent position on the official website,asking questions to readers worldwide.Trust in maintaining social relations plays a vital role in promoting cooperation,improving efficiency,and creating an atmosphere.The emergence of the "trust crisis" has made reshaping media authority and maintaining its credibility the top priority of news organization operations.It involves not only the inherent values and professional ethics of the journalism field,but also all aspects of media reputation and image transmission.On the one hand,as a specific cultural award presentation form and management method,the news award is an important mechanism for the production and distribution of honor in the news industry,and it is also a unique "heterogeneous" resource in the professional field.It has a huge impact on the quality of news and the reputation of the media.influences.Each specific detail in the management of news awards is a different cultural symbol,contains different news values,and continuously conveys its active elements.On the other hand,the management process of news awards must have a "run-in" process with the dominant symbolic expression,and constantly "de-rough and refine" so that when the journalism establishes its own cultural authority,it can not only rely on compulsory power,but also on rationality.Basically accepted by society.This research uses the literature research method,content analysis method and in-depth interview method.Among them,the author explores the relationship between media reputation,news quality,and news awards by analyzing the content of well-known news award mechanisms at home and abroad and in-depth interviews with people inside and outside the industry.On this basis,the value demands of news award management are summarized,and then an optimization path for news award management is proposed to enhance the practical applicability and completeness of this research.In terms of news award management,it is necessary to "break" and "stand up" to achieve the "symbiosis" and "balance" of the participants.The China News Awards,as the highest-ranking news award in the country,needs to carry confidence beyond time and space.Through strict control,it sets up a model of practice and value benchmarks in the industry,unites collective emotions,and presents outstanding works that reflect journalism to the public.Able to test now and in the future.
