Before the 21st century,paper media still maintained a good development momentum and occupied a large market share in the media field.However,under the impact of network technology and new media,the operation and development of paper media is facing great difficulties.The New York Times,the largest and most representative paper media in the United States,has also entered a difficult period of development.In order to achieve its own sustainable development,the newspaper had to make drastic reforms,reduce costs through large-scale layoffs,and adopted an electronic and information development strategy,replacing traditional paper publications with brand new electronic publications.To achieve the transformation and development goal of turning losses into profits on the basis of controlling operating costs and improving marketing capabilities as much as possible.Under the impact of network information technology,the emerging media represented by online media has a huge impact on the development of traditional paper media.How to actively respond to the impact of new media to achieve its own transformation and sustainable development has become a common problem faced by traditional paper media.In this paper,the marketing strategy research carried out by Wuxi Daily Newspaper Group under the background of media integration is based on the study of the practical experience of many newspaper groups.Through literature analysis,survey methods,descriptive research methods and other research methods,through Wuxi Daily Newspaper Group's overview and development history,current marketing strategy problems,targeted marketing strategy improvement measures.
