The birth and development of sports reality show not only enrich the form of reality show,but also participate in the construction of China's sports culture to some extent.Nowadays,the market potential of sports reality show is becoming more and more obvious,and the problems accompanying its development are also gradually emerging.With the advent of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games and the continuous enhancement of people's sports awareness,sports reality show should pay more attention to fulfilling its social responsibilities and becoming an important media channel for the transmission of China's sports spirit and culture,so as to better facilitate China's “Outline for Building a Leading Sports Nation”.Therefore,this paper adopts the methods of literature review,observation and expert interview to study the basic situation,role function,the tendency of lack of social responsibility and ways to improve social responsibility of China's sports reality shows from the perspective of social responsibility.According to the research content,the expert access table was designed.On the basis of combining experts' opinions,the specific research content of this paper is formed.Through the research of sports reality show,the paper expounds its program classification,summarizes its development,and deeply analyzes the current situation of social responsibility undertaking of sports reality show,as well as points out its role function in media communication and the problem of social responsibility deficiency.On this basis,combining with the social responsibility theory and relevant program cases,this paper systematically discusses the social responsibility of sports reality show from five dimensions: political responsibility,economic responsibility,cultural responsibility,moral responsibility and legal responsibility.From the three aspects of content review and value orientation,innovation ability and program form,aesthetic character and audience quality,this paper proposes specific measures for sports reality show to play its social responsibility.In addition,the promotion of excellent sports reality shows and special associations in the construction industry are important means to cultivate the social responsibility awareness of sports reality show practitioners.Fulfilling social responsibility is the only way for sports reality show to achieveits sustainable development.To promote sports reality shows to fulfill their social responsibilities,it is necessary to establish and improve laws and regulations,strictly review the program contents,establish market access,gradually form industry self-discipline,strengthen the guidance of program value,continuously activate the ability of innovation,and improve the program quality and audience taste.The fulfillment of social responsibility becomes the common pursuit and conscious action of practitioners.Given full play to the social function and value of sports reality show,sports reality show can become the new power of popularizing sports knowledge and spread excellent sports culture in our country.
