At present, the rise of e-commerce platforms has driven the development of the logistics and warehousing industry, and many new technologies and equipment have been born. The new technologies and new equipment not only drive the development of commodity warehouses, but also bring new life to traditional industrial parts warehouses. It is also possible to collaborate with the manufacturing execution system to enable production activities to be executed under effective supervision,so managing warehouse resources is intelligent and efficient. The equipment and layout used in each warehouse is individualistic. The warehouse in this thesis adopts a semi-manual and semi-intelligent mode. The intelligent equipment manages the transfer of parts in the warehouse, and the operators intervene the process of the parts inbound and outbound. The Warehouse Management System existing can not meet the needs of the corporation‘s warehouse, this thesis will use the micro-service architecture to design and implement a Warehouse Management System for requirements for managing the warehouse resources and operations more reasonably and effectively. This thesis' s objective is applying the advanced technologies to this system for the warehouse in a small and medium-sized factory in Shanghai by introducing and analyzing the the advanced technologies and applying effects of the Warehouse Management System all around world. In the requirements analysis, the main business processes of the system will be listed, including put in and out of warehouse, make an inventory, transfer and replenishment, and the most important process will be modelled by UML.The system participants will be divided into five parts: warehouse administrator, warehouse operator, system administrator, manufacturing execution system and warehouse control system, using UML to model the participants of the system and the operations they can do;in-depth from functional requirements and non-functionality The requirements of the system are analyzed in two aspects, one is the important use cases involved in the above important business processes are analyzed in detail through the chart, another is performance requirements are analyzed. In the design stage, this thesis will divide the system hierarchically, design the user layer, view layer, and microservices layer,as well as the components used in the microservices layer vertically, and describe the network hierarchy of the system runtime using the topology diagram.Design database tables of the system, and represent the relationship between the database tables by the diagram. At the end of the design stage, the main functional modules of the system will be designed in detail through class diagrams, including the supply and demand interfaces and the dependencies between classes, and UML sequence diagrams will be used to design the invocation sequence of various functional flows, and the algorithms used in this process will be introduced. This thesis will introduce the test process, including test environment, hardware and software equipment, configuration, tools, methods, cases and results. In the testing of system functions, the test cases will be presented by form, and the test results will be presented by screenshots of system. For the non-functional requirements, this thesis will display and explain the results by the line chart. The design and implementation of the Warehouse Management System enables the warehouse to carry out activities such as put in and out of warehouse, make an inventory, transfer and replenishment efficiently and accurately, and can run smoothly in a certain number of concurrent to promote the intelligent production of the factory. In addition, the framework of the series of microservice architecture adopted by the warehouse management system is different from other microservice systems in the market, and the components that are not updated are fully replaced to ensure the future update and maintenance of the system.
