The rapid development of the city and the accelerating process of urbanization have made the importance of the city's image increasingly clear,and building a good city image is an important driving force for the continuous development of the city.Vision,as the most important way for humans to recognize the objective world,plays a dominant role in the dissemination and construction of urban images.Media has always been an important carrier for the dissemination of urban images.Therefore,in the current context of media integration,visual communication is used to construct The good image of the city is increasingly valued by people.This article studies the changes brought about by visual communication in the context of media fusion in conjunction with the theories of communication and design,and gives concrete strategies for the use of visual communication to construct urban images in order to provide a reference for building a good city image.The first part of the paper introduces the research background,research significance,research status,research methods and innovations of this article.The second part elaborates the core concepts of "urban image" and "visual communication",and points out the visual communication in the context of media fusion.The changes analyze the role of visual communication and the necessity of using it to construct an urban image.Sections 3 and 4 use control analysis,content analysis,media analysis,audience analysis,and effect analysis in communication to study media fusion.The visual communication conveys the communicators,content,media,audience,and communication effects of the urban image in the context of communication.It points out the advantages and disadvantages of different forms of communication and media,and proposes a variety of communication forms to be coordinated and communicated with various media.The communicative dissemination strategy proposes that the visual communication under the new model can bring about the return of citizen's subjectivity,strengthen the city's self-identity and others' recognition and form the conclusion of diversification of the urban image;the fifth part is the use of case studies and investigations.Questionnaire method to analyze the visual transmission process of Hangzhou city image and use States,for example,to take a random sampling conducted a questionnaire survey to verify the analysis of the conclusion of the fourth and the concrete strategies using visual communication to build the city's image.The sixth part is a brief summary of this article.In the context of media integration,the construction and dissemination of city images increasingly rely on visual communication,and visual communication itself has also brought about changes in the city's image.In the process of visualizing urban images,we must strive to diversify and professionalize communicators,effectively upgrade and integrate visual communication media,fully tap the visual content of cities,widely cover explicit and implicit audiences,and improve the mediation of communicators and audiences.Literacy also supervises and controls visual pollution and visual paradox.In short,to fully understand the changes of visual communication to the construction of urban images in the context of media integration,it is necessary to grasp the specific methods and strategies in the visual communication process to build a good city image.
