In recent years, more and more Chinese city for publicity and marketing yourself,packing the city by various methods. Among them, through the television mediaplatform shape and spread the image of the city is the most direct and effective way.The image of the city not only represent the city appearance and contour, also onbehalf of the people and the city in the city overall mental outlook. In the rapiddevelopment today, must want to have the recognition and high reputation of city, mustaccurately grasp the city image positioning, reasonable communication. In this paper,by analyzing and summarizing the television works in various forms in the media oftelevision, the image of the city through the medium of television should be how toshape and propagation, by the city of a concrete example carries on the description.So, this paper takes the city image and communication strategy as the core, isdivided into four chapters. The introduction part mainly discusses the researchbackground, research status, research value and the innovation problem.The first chapter mainly introduces the related theory of the city image. Concept,including city image constitute binding elements and TV media. To provide researchbasis and reference theory for the paper.Chapter II began to enter the main part of the paper, through the image of the cityin the television media in shaping the form, the principles and methods of systematicdescription of how the image of the city is shaped and manifested in the televisionmedia and its combined TV works instance analysis.City image dissemination of TV media in the third chapter from thecommunications strategy of communication links, that the image of the city, and thenthrough different forms of the TV audience of different city image, finally proposed inthe city image communication we should pay attention to the problem.The fourth chapter of film and television works from the representative city ofHarbin, Beijing, Hongkong, the building and dissemination of detailed analysis of theircharacteristics of the image of the city, through the analysis of the previous conclusionverification. This paper relates to the communication, city planning, city marketing, aestheticsand other related theories, shaping the way to sum up the city image and communicationstrategy, hope to be able to become our country city image construction of thetheoretical basis and reference resources.
