The Research On Virtual Reality System Of Mine Safety

The situation of mine industry is poorly serious and mine accidents is frequent in our county. The case is caused by non-standard operation of employees and they are not familiar with the mine production system. With the development of virtual reality technology, the quality of employees can be effectively improved and the occurrence of mine accidents can be inhibited owing to the virtual reality technology combining with coal production. It has a positive impact on coal mine production safety and reduces the country's economic losses.The applications of virtual reality in the coal mine is still in the exploratory stage from the domestic and international coal research situation. With the findings of many scholars, this paper studies virtual reality system of mine based on the characteristics of China's coal mine production .With the requirements of the advanced and economic, the overall system has been analyzed and designed and the paper describes structure, function and development steps of virtual reality system on the coal mine safety production. It has been deeply studied of the three-dimensional geometric modeling of roadway. And then it was discussed for sources of data of roadway modeling, roadway centerline approximation, roadway section modeling, the roadway intersection modeling and the smoothing of the roadway intersection.Three-dimensional model of roadway is established with VC++ and OpenGL based on the study of visualization of the roadway. The virtual reality system of coal mine safety production has been developed through the coal mine gas explosion and floods and other typical disasters simulation combined with the technology of disaster simulation.The research and development of virtual reality system on coal mine production safety has important practical value for coal mine production safety and improving the security awareness of employees and the production decision.
