Research On The Social Integration Of The Single Elderly From The Perspective Of Social Support Theory ——Take H Distriet Of Beijing As An Example

On October 29,2015.The universal two-child policy was officially implemented.However,there are a group of people whose suffering conflicting emotions.They are those who used to strictly abide by the family planning policy,but the only child died unexpectedly,they became a special group-the elderly who lost their independence.After losing their only child,they can no longer have children or adopt them for various reasons.As they grow older,they now face a variety of problems.For example,life care,medical consultation,spiritual comfort,mental stress,barriers to smartphone use.Among the elderly who lost their independence,there is a very special group-the elderly who lost their independence.They not only lost their children,but also lost emotional support from their spouses due to divorce or widowhood,they become more sensitive and vulnerable,with low self-esteem and negativity.Perhaps the material shortage can still be alleviated by national policies,but the spiritual emptiness is like an invisible hand,trapping them on a deserted "island".Long term self isolation makes them don't know what to do in social life.Additional the impact of the epidemic,because they can not use smart phones to obtain information about the epidemic,they can only stay at home for a long time.Therefore,their social integration has become the focus of society.Social support is an important resource to promote individuals to solve crises,integrate into society and maintain a good living condition.For the elderly who are single and lose their independence,it is an important tool to obtain spiritual comfort and ensure their normal life.Because of the particularity of the group of single elderly people who lost their independence,The author conducted a semi-structured interview with seven single elderly people in District H of Beijing.Objectively describe the living situation and general characteristics of this group,and select a representative single old man who lost his independence due to case intervention.Help clients rebuild social support networks and improve their living conditions.Finally,based on the above induction and analysis.From two aspects: formal social support network and informal social support network,put forward the promotion strategy of social integration of the elderly who are single and lose their independence.Through the reconstruction of social support network,reduce their self isolation,improve the living conditions of the elderly who have lost their independence and integrate into society smoothly.
