Social Work Intervention For Social Integration Of The Elderly Who Moved With Them From The Perspective Of Resocialization

In recent years,the acceleration of urbanization in my country has led to the continuous growth of the group of migrating elderly.They have left their hometowns and come to the city.Living in a cultural environment completely different from that of the countryside will face various problems.These problems make it difficult for the migrating elderly to integrate into the city.urban life.Therefore,in order to quickly integrate the migratory elderly into the city and have a high-quality old age,this paper takes the migratory elderly as the research object,based on the theory of re-socialization and social support,and collects data by means of semi-structured interviews and participatory observation,based on the collected data to analyze the current situation of the integration of the elderly who migrated with them,and summarize the problems and needs of the elderly who migrated with them in the process of integration.Using two professional methods of social work,case social work and group social work,intervene in the aspects of language communication,values,family role adaptation,family emotional support,social support network,etc.of the relocated elderly in the K community of Zhengzhou City,so as to speed up their re-socialization process.The study found that under the guidance of social support and re-socialization theory,the use of two methods of group work and case work can more accurately solve the problems of family role adaptation and inter-member communication of the elderly who migrate with them at the family level,and can also be used at the community level.It is necessary to improve the enthusiasm of migrating elderly to participate in community activities,expand the scope of interpersonal communication,and establish a good informal support network.This study summarizes and reflects on the practical process of social work intervening in the social integration of migrating elderly,and puts forward the following suggestions for further promoting the integration of migrating elderly into urban society in the future: first,establish a professional volunteer service team to improve community participation;second,comprehensively use social work methods to improve the effect of integration,and the third is to improve the medical and old-age security system and strengthen policy publicity.
