Social Work Intervention On The Construction Of Social Support Network For Migrant Elderly

Today,with the continuous economic and social development,social mobility is increasing.In this context,the group of elderly people came into being.Due to the change of living environment,a series of social adaptation problems often occur in the process of emigration.In this paper,the elderly with migration in W Community of Shenzhen city are selected as the research object,and the construction of social support network for the elderly with migration is analyzed based on social support theory.This study adopts the method of field research,through interviews and participant observation method,the obtained data are system carding,analysis the service object emotional support,practical support and social support of the status quo,found the lack of emotional support network resources,the service object with practical support network service is not perfect,social support network for single issue.Combining with the needs of the service objects,social workers construct the social support network of the service objects from three aspects according to the social support theory in the practical process.Firstly,strengthen self-worth from emotional support and develop peer group core circle relationship;From the practical support level to improve the service object's own skills,improve the quality of community service;From the aspect of social support,multi-party linkage is used to build public activity space and various ways are used to expand online virtual social network.From the effect point of view,emotional support,practical support and social support network interact with each other to build a perfect social support network for service objects,enrich the emotional support network of service objects,effectively improve the practical support network and expand the dimension of social support network.However,there are also some difficulties in the service process,such as insufficient subjective play of the service object,difficult sustainability of social support network,over-dependence on external resources,etc.Therefore,this paper puts forward some experience and enlightenment on the basis of summing up the practice,in order to provide some reference for the construction of social support network for the accompanying elderly.
