Social Workers' Involve Ment In Social Support Network For Rural Elderly

With the arrival of the population aging,the social pension pressure is huge,the rural elderly population with weak pension security is vulnerable to a more serious impact :O n the economic side,it makes the pressure of the rural elderly families to increase;in the care,it makes the traditional family care model has been a serious challenge.As China is a developing country,in the rural endowment policies still lack;confined to elderly relations huge economic support,lack of rural pension spending can make relative access to every household in rural areas of the elderly Social support is not only a visible interactive way,but also an important aspect of social care for the elderly,Individuals can use social support networks to gain resources or support the solution of problems or crises in their lives,and enhance their environmental adaptability.;the next,Social support can also promote their own development,improve their quality of life?Based on the above reasons,i wantsto know what the social support can do for the elderly in rural areas,and what support the social workers do in the process of intervention.Therefore,this paper uses literature research,interviews,participatory observation and other research methods;to collect and analyze the basic situation of the social support network of the rural elderly in the P village day care center of S community in Panyu?Through the formal social support and informal social support to study the social support network of the elderly in rural areas,to understand the status of social support for the elderly in rural areas.At t he same time,this paper analyzes the relationship between social work and social support,and analyzes the role of social workers in the informal social support and formal social support network?Finally,through the study of the social workers involved in the process,summed up the situation of the elderly social support in P village,and the rural elderly social support from the social worker's professional intervention method for reflection.
