| Senior high school is a critical period for students’ physical and mental development and plays an important role in their growth.As a part of social responsibility,labor education plays a key role in the all-round development of students’ morality,intelligence,physique,beauty and labor.Therefore,this study proposes to permeate labor education in high school biology teaching.In order to enhance students’ awareness of love and respect for work,it advocated the implementation of relevant national policies on labor education.Using research methods such as literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and case teaching method,with the support of Marx’s labor education theory,Makarenko’s labor education theory and Sukhomlinsky school’s labor education theory,it analyzes the feasibility of infiltrating labor education in high school biology teaching.Based on the labor literacy framework dimension of previous research,400 students from 6 classes in three grades of high school were randomly selected to investigate the labor literacy level of S middle school students in H city.The results of the questionnaire showed that the labor concept of high school students needs to be improved,labor skills need to be strengthened,and labor habits and quality need to be improved,but most students are interested in biology and labor education,which lays the foundation for the penetration of labor education in later biology teaching.Through interviews with10 biology teachers in S middle school,we learned that teachers can recognize the connection between biology and labor education,but their cognition of labor education theory is vague,lack of professional training,and only provide fragmented mentions in teaching.According to the survey results,the following coping strategies are proposed.The state and education departments invest funds to jointly build a shared labor education practice base,and establish a perfect labor education evaluation system.Schools strengthen labor education publicity and guidance,development labor education school-based curriculum,and carry out labor education safety lectures.Teachers activate labor education factors with the help of textbook illustrations,introduce the history of science and set up scientists’ “labor role model”,and regularly carry out labor skills interest classes.Take the section “Ecosystem and its Stability” in the 2019 edition of high school biology optional compulsory 2 as an example,some strategies are used to design a teaching case that penetrates labor education.In the case,the order of the content of the textbooks was adjusted,combined with the local resource “Nanhu Wetland Park”.First,let students make eco-bottles after class,and introduce them into new lessons by showing the fruits of labor.Based on the teaching ideas of asking questions,working in groups and solving problems,citing examples,constructing concepts,and proposing measures.Teaching practice is carried out in the practical class.Through interviewing students to understand the teaching effect,it is found that students are willing to accept this teaching method,which not only improves students’ interest in learning and exercises their labor ability,but also enables students to deeply understand the relationship between biological knowledge and nature,and take the initiative to undertake the social responsibility of protecting the environment.Thereby improving the labor behavior of students and improving the quality of labor.Therefore,it is effective and feasible to infiltrate labor education in biology teaching. |
