Research On The Governance Of Online Rumors In Public Health Events

In recent years,SARS,Ebola,Middle East respiratory syndrome,Novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic and other public health incidents have been frequent.online rumors are also accompanied by "stir up trouble".It can be seen that with the rapid development of the Internet today,online rumors in every major public health event will have a significant impact on the credibility of the government and social stability.Based on this,novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic is taken as an example.The factors influencing the online rumors in public health emergenc and the characteristics of their propagation are comprehensively analyzed.Combined with the shortcomings of existing governance measures,the improvement suggestions are proposed,which are of theoretical and practical significance for filling two theories of online rumors governance and effectively maintaining social stability.Novel coronavirus pneumonia is a case study.The study has been conducted by scholars from home and abroad.The research results are based on the theories of public administration,communication and politics.Taking the online rumors of Novel coronavirus pneumonia as an example,the methods of literature research,content analysis and questionnaire are applied to study the data.Novel coronavirus pneumonia is novel coronavirus pneumonia.The first is the analysis of the formation and spread of online rumors in the Novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic.It is considered that the life cycle of online rumors has experienced four stages,including germination,outbreak,decay and retreat.The formation of adorable rumors is mainly influenced by the characteristics of public health emergenc,social psychology,and the development of Internet technology and media.Then it summarizes the current governance model of online rumors in public health emergenc from four aspects: government led governance,mainstream media collaborative governance,social organizations participating in governance,and rumor refuting platform joining in governance.It analyzes the existing problems in the current governance model,including insufficient sensitivity of rumor governance,single governance subject,slow speed of rumor refutation,low efficiency of rumor refutation This paper analyzes the causes of the problems,including the government's lack of attention,the lack of collaborative governance mechanism,the lag of technology,the decline of government credibility,the imperfection of relevant laws and the society's gradual entry into the "post truth era".At the end of this paper,we put forward the strategies to improve the governance of online rumors in public health emergenc,which are to establish the early warning and evaluation mechanism of online rumors,improve the collaborative governance mechanism of refuting rumors,enrich the technical means of online rumors governance,comprehensively enhance the credibility of the government,improve the punishment mechanism of online rumors,and strengthen the education and guidance of the public in public health emergenc.
