| Objective:To evaluate the clinical effect of Weishi Qingre Jiedu Lishi recipe funigation with meibomian gland massage in the treatment of dry eye associated with meibomian gland dysfunction due to excessive wind heat.Method:Choose our ophthalmic clinic type 60 patients(120 eyes)of dry eye associated with meibomian gland dysfunction due to excessive wind heat,who were randomly assigned according to the order of visiting,the control group 30 cases(60 eyes),treatment group 30 cases(60 eyes).The control group was given Sodium Hyaluronate Eye Drops,4 times a day,1 drop each time,and Tobramycin Dexamethasone Eye Ointment was applied to the upper and lower eyelid margin before going to bed.In the treatment group,on the basis of the treatment in the control group,the patients were treated with Weishi Qingre Jiedu Lishi recipe(honeysuckle,wild chrysanthemum,dandelion,qin bark,scutellaria scutellariae,bamboo leaves and mint)fumigation,once a day,20 minutes each time,and combined with meibomian gland massage once on 0,7 and 14 day.The control group and the treatment group were treated for 14 consecutive days,and the detection records of relevant observation indexes were recorded at 0 and 14 days after treatment,respectively.Noninvasive tear breakup time(NIBUT),corneal fluorescin staining(FL),meibomian gland secretion score(MGYSS),meibomian gland deficiency score(MGS),ocular surface disease index(OSDI)questionnaire and TCM syndrome score were included 2 times in total.Results:1.A total of 60 cases were included in this study,and 1 case was abscission,with an abscission rate of 1.7%.2.Before treatment,statistical analysis was conducted on gender,age and observation indicators of patients in the two groups,including NIBUT,FL,MGYSS,OSDI questionnaire scores and TCM syndrome scores.All the scores showed P>0.05,showing no statistical difference and comparability.3.After treatment,the observation indexes of two groups of patients with statistical analysis,P<0.05,statistically significant,it appears that the treatment group patients the tear film rupture time,corneal injury repair,meibomian gland function and symptoms of ocular surface is better than the control group patients.4.Nibut,FL,eyelid secretion score,OSDI questionnaire score and TCM syndrome score in the treatment group were compared before and after treatment,all P<0.05,showing statistically significant differences.The scores of all indexes after treatment were better than before treatment.The results indicated that the tear film stability,eyelid gland function and ocular surface symptoms of the patients in the treatment group were significantly improved after treatment.5.The observation indexes of control group were compared before and after treatment,among which there were statistical differences in NIBUT,OSDI questionnaire scores and TCM syndrome scores(P<0.05),and the effect after treatment was better than that before treatment;There was no significant difference between FL and MGYSS after treatment and before treatment(P>0.05).It indicated that the tear film rupture time was prolonged and ocular surface symptoms were improved in the control group after treatment,but there was no significant improvement in the repair of corneal injury and the secretion function of eyelid gland.6.There was a statistical difference in the frequency of treatment effect between the two groups(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment group was 90%,while that of the control group was 68.97%,and the total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group.7.No adverse events occurred during the study period.Conclusion:1.It is clinically effective to treat patients with dry eye associated with meibomian gland dysfunction due to excessive wind heat by fumigation of Weishi Qingre Jiedu Lishi recipe combined with meibomian gland massage,which can improve the stability of tear film,improve secretion function of meibomian gland and relieve ocular surface symptoms;2.Fumigation of Weishi Qingre Jiedu Lishi recipe combined with meibomian gland massage in the treatment of dry eye associated with meibomian gland dysfunction due to excessive wind heat is more effective than the treatment of eye drops alone. |
