Objective: To observe the clinical curative effect of Chinese Medicine orientation osmotherapy in dry eye caused by Meibomian gland dysfunction(MGD)and evaluate objectively the curative effect, for the dry eye caused by MGD provide new clinical thinking. Methods: In May 2016 to October 2017 in gansu university of traditional Chinese medicine affiliated hospital of ophthalmology of outpatient and inpatient dry eye caused by MGD patient 80 cases,40 cases were randomly divided into control group and treatment group(4 0 cases, control group to conventional treatment of the physics: eyelid edge local cleaning, hot compress, meibomian gland massage, thoroughly remove meibomian gland catheter after opening a blockage, drops of ofloxacin eye drops 4 times/day,sodium hyaluronate eye drops 4 ~ 5 times/day.On the basis of routine treatment in the control group, the treatment group was treated with a combination of Chinese Medicine orientation osmotherapy, and the two groups were treated for 10 days with one course of treatment, and the interval between two courses was 2 ~ 3 days, with 3 courses of treatment.Observe two groups of patients before and after the treatment of subjective symptoms, the graduation of MGD,severity score of dry eye and Schirmer I test(SIT ?),it breaking up time(BUT),fluorescein staining(FL),eyelid margin of morphological changes, eyelid ester eduction difficulty level score and eyelid ester character grading index changes. Results: 1.After treatment, the total effective rate of treatment group was 100%,the total effective rate of the control group was 92.5%,and the efficacy of the treatment group and the control group was statistically significant(P<0.05).The curative effect of treatment group was better than that of control group.2.The scores of subjective symptoms of the two groups were reduced before and after the treatment, and the difference in the group was statistically significant(P<0.05).The comparison the graduation of MGD and severity score of dry eye,in both treatment group and control group pre and post treatment, there was statistically significant difference in treatment group(P< 0.05),there was no statistically significant difference in the control group(P>0.05),before and after the treatment in the two groups, there was significance statistical difference in treatment group(P< 0.05),for BUT,SIT?,FL,eyelid margin of morphological changes, eyelid ester eduction difficulty level score and eyelid ester character grading index changes.there was no statistically significant difference in the control group(P>0.05)for eyelid margin of morphological changes, and there was significance statistical difference in control group(P<0.05),for BUT,SIT?,FL,eyelid ester eduction difficulty level score and eyelid ester character grading index changes. The effect in treatment group is better than the control group.3.The subjective symptom scores were lower in the two groups after treatment, there was significant statistical difference between the 2 groups(P<0.05),and there was significance statistical difference in treatment group(P<0.05),for BUT,SIT?,FL,eyelid margin of morphological changes, eyelid ester eduction difficulty level score and eyelid ester character grading index changes(P<0.05).and the improvement of each index of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.Conclus ion: Chinese Medicine orientation osmotherapy for dry eye caused by MGD,obvious improvement of subjective symptoms and patient,to increase the breaking up time, add extra tear secretion, and reduce corneal fluorescein staining, lighten the damage appears and to improve the stability of the tear film, restore meibomian gland function, the therapeutic effect was significant, and is an effective new therapy for the treatment of dry eye caused by MGD.
