Clinial Observation Of Meibomian Gland Dysfunction Treating With The Three-step Therapy

Objective:The subject intends observed by randomized controlled three-step therapy (traditional Chinese medicine fumigating eye, meibomian gland massaging, margin of meibomian gland cleaning) with sodium hyaluronate eye drops treatment of dry eye caused by meibomian gland dysfunction evaluation of clinical efficacy, clear indications and to the application of target, to lay the foundation for the accumulation of theory and promoting clinical.Methods:48patients of dry eye caused by meibomian gland dysfunction with a total of96eyes were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group, the treatment group use the three-step therapy and drops with sodium hyaluronate Eye Drops and Pranoprofen Eye Drops in the conjunctival sac, the treatment group drops with sodium hyaluronate Eye Drops and Pranoprofen Eye Drops in the conjunctival sac only. It was compared to the traditional diagnosising method of meibomian gland dysfunction and the patient’s own symptoms using as the efficacy’s standards.Results:after one month, the treatment group patients (schirmer treatment group better than the control group (p=0.034), tear film break-up time of the treatment group better than the control group (p=0.018).The treatment group of meibomian gland is better than the control groups(p=0.041). a treatment group of semi-quantitative integral difference better than the control groups(p<0.01) results shows:the treatment group,24cases,48eyes,8patients were cured, improved in14,2cases no effect, the total effective rate was91.67%; the control group24cases,48eyes,4cases were cured, improved in14,6cases no effect, total effective rate was75.00%, two groups have a significant difference (p<0.05). experimental observation, three-step therapy with the efficacy of sodium hyaluronate Eye Drops and Pranoprofen Eye Drops for dry eye caused by meibomian gland dysfunction, no side effects, opening up new treatment method to treat the disease for traditional Chinese medicine, have the clinical application value.
