Basic motor skills are the basic motor learning mode of human body which does not occur naturally. It is the basis of complex physical activities and sports activities.Mastering motor skills is an important way for children to explore the world and acquire knowledge.Childhood is the golden period for the formation and development of motor skills, but there is a lack of evaluation tools in the field of motor skills in China,so it is urgent to develop an evaluation tool based on children in China. The purpose of this study is to develop an evaluation scale for basic motor skills of 6-7-year-old children in Xiamen, establish regional norms, lay a foundation for children to learn professional motor skills in the future, and contribute to physical education teachers’ objective evaluation and scientific guidance in teaching. This paper adopts the methods of literature review,Delphi, testing and mathematical statistics.Nineteen expert questionnaires were collected, and after three rounds of expert consultation, test indicators and evaluation criteria were established.A total of 516 children aged 6to 7 in Xiamen were selected as the test subjects, including 256 boys and 250 girls.Practice and test each movement once.Based on the field test data, the scale item differentiation, reliability and validity were analyzed, the evaluation scale was developed, and the regional norm was established. The research results of this paper are as follows:1.The expert coordination coefficient in the screening of children’s basic motor skills indicators was 0.775.Through the five-point scoring method, the final selected test indicators are the average score greater than 4 and the coefficient of variation less than or equal to 0.2.2.Differentiation analysis of basic motor skills test indicators showed that:(1)The difficulty of all the 10 test items was 0.56,close to 0.5,indicating appropriate difficulty.(2)The discrimination indices ranged from 0.43 to 0.61,all greater than 0.4.3.Reliability analysis of basic motor skills test indicators showed that:(1)Retested at an interval of three weeks, the correlation coefficient of the total score of the scale was as high as 0.942,and other test indicators were all greater than 0.7.(2)The α coefficient of each dimension of basic motor skills was ≥0.7,and the α coefficient of internal consistency of 10 test indexes was 0.771.4.Validity analysis of basic motor skills test indexes showed that the factor molecular KMO value was 0.801,and the factor load of each test index was between 0.559 and 0.839,all greater than 0.3.5.Analysed by independent sample t-test,the P values of each dimension and total score of male and female test scores were 0.170,0.270,0.922 and 0.958 respectively, all greater than 0.05.6.In this paper,we test the normal distribution of the constant modulus data. The results show that the scattered points of each graph fall near or even on the straight line. The conclusions of this paper are as follows:1.There are 10 test indicators in the evaluation scale, including: straight running, single and double foot mixed jump ring, double foot jump rope, one foot standing, heel walking straight line, beat the ball in situ, one hand shoulder throwing, hands throw catch, hands catch, and feet kick fixed ball. The scale adopts a 5-point scoring method.2.The evaluation scale is a practical measurement tool with appropriate difficulty, good item differentiation and good retest reliability, internal consistency, content validity and structure validity.3.There is no gender difference in the test of basic motor skills of 6-7-year-old children in Xiamen, which may be due to the lack of similarities and differences in the growth characteristics. Therefore, motor skills of children of different genders do not show any difference either.4.The regional percentile level norm, the standard nine-score norm and the five-level norm are preliminarily established, which can be evaluated independently or comprehensively in each dimension.
