As the general trend of social development in all countries in the world, aging has been paid attention to by all countries since the last century.Although with the emergence of the population aging phenomenon, the proportion of labor force is gradually decreasing, but the economic development and the advancement of medical standards also make the population aging,to a certain extent, promote the transformation and upgrading of the primary and secondary industries, and Brings opportunities for the development of the tertiary industry. Therefore, the aging of the population and the upgrading of the industrial structure are inextricably linked. At present, our country is in a critical period of industrial structure transformation and upgrading. How to adapt to the trend of social development and make the aging of the population exert a positive influence on the upgrading of industrial structure has important research value. This article discusses the impact of population aging on the upgrading of industrial structure through two dimensions of theoretical empirical and empirical empirical evidence. At the theoretical and empirical level, this paper selects Japan, which has the highest degree of aging in the world, and Germany, which has the characteristics of typical European developed countries,as the research objects, and compares the development trajectories of population aging in China,Japan and Germany, and combines the social background of each country Analyze the reasons for the formation of the aging trajectory, and then analyze the changes in the industrial structure of the three countries at different stages of aging on this basis. On the one hand, the theoretical empirical part summarizes the similarities and differences in the development of the three countries, and on the other hand,it also analyzes the possible reasons for the differences in the impact of population aging on the upgrading of industrial structure, and selects quantifiable indicators; At the empirical level, this paper selects threshold variables based on theoretical empirical research conclusions and establishes an econometric model, and analyzes the impact of population aging on the upgrading of industrial structure through provincial panel data of 31 provinces in my country from 2000 to2019.The research conclusions of this article show that the development trajectory of population aging in China is similar to that of Japan. Both are due to the short period of national policy intervention in the aging society, and the transition period is only half that of Germany;the current industrial structure of our country A pattern of “three, two, one”consistent with Japan and Germany has been formed, and from the perspective of industrial structure changes, the practical experience of Japan and Germany has important reference significance for our country;the external force of national policies is to cause the population of various countries The aging and industrial structure development trajectories are the most important factors, but the differences in the level of economy, education, and urbanization in the process of social development have also played a certain role;and the econometric model confirms that the positive effect of population aging on the upgrading of industrial structure is affected. The impact of education level and economic level has a significant threshold effect. The improvement of education level can make the population aging have a more positive impact on the upgrading of industrial structure, but the increase of economic level will weaken the effect of population aging on the upgrading of industrial structure.Positive effect. Finally, based on the research conclusions and combined with the policy experiences of Japan and Germany, this article puts forward policy recommendations on my country’s response to population aging and industrial structure upgrading. |
