| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of acupoint catgut embedding in the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis of dampness-heat type of spleen and stomach,and evaluate its effectiveness and safety,so as to provide a simple,inexpensive and safe non-drug therapy for the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis.Metheods:A total of 108 cases of seborrheic dermatitis with dampness-heat type of spleen and stomach were randomly divided into three groups with 36 cases in each group.Treatment group was given acupoint catgut embedding,control group 1 was given oral Chinese medicine of Chushi Weiling decoction and Yinchenhao decoction,control group 2 was given comfort embedding(acupoint embedding needle without injection of disposable absorbable surgical sutures).The patients were treated for 4consecutive weeks,with a return visit every 2 weeks.The scores of skin lesions and symptoms before treatment,2 weeks and 4 weeks after treatment were observed and recorded.The scores of TCM syndromes and quality of life were only recorded before and 4 weeks after treatment.Finally,all the data were statistically analyzed to compare the efficacy of the three groups.Results:1.The healing rate of the treatment group was 29.41% and the total effective rate was 94.12%.In the control group,the healing rate was 12.5% and the total effective rate was 81.25%.The healing rate and total effective rate of the treatment group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05),with statistically significant differences.2.After 2 weeks,only the treatment group had significantly improved seborrhea and pruritus,and there were statistical differences between the treatment group and control group 1 and control group 2(P<0.05).There were no statistical differences in the remaining erythema,papule,scale,skin lesion area scores and the efficacy indexes of the other two groups compared with those before treatment(P>0.05).After 4 weeks,both treatment group and control group 1 showed significant improvement in all efficacy indicators(P<0.05),and the two groups had the same effect(P>0.05);In control group 2,there was only a statistical difference in seborrhea(P<0.05).3.TCM syndromes and quality of life scores: there were significant statistical differences between the treatment group and control group 1 before and after treatment(P<0.05),but there was no statistical difference between the two groups(P>0.05),There was no statistical difference in control group 2 before and after treatment(P>0.05),but it had statistical difference compared with treatment group and control group 1(P<0.05).4.Recurrence rate: the control group 2 had no cure or significant effect,so it could not be included in the recurrence rate comparison;The recurrence rate of treatment group and control group 1 was statistically different(P<0.05).5.No serious adverse reactions occurred in the three groups,and there was no statistical difference between the three groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.The treatment of seborrheic dermatitis caused by dampness and heat in spleen and stomach by acupoint catgut embedding can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and signs such as erythema,papula,scales and the extent of lesions,seborrhea,pruritus,and also significantly improve the TCM syndromes and quality of life,with definite clinical effect.2.Acupoint catgut embedding treatment of seborrheic dermatitis can effectively reduce the recurrence,with small adverse reactions and high safety,worthy of clinical promotion and application.reduce the recurrence. |
